Project Lead - Transformation & AI

Summary
We are looking for a high-impact Project Lead to join our Tranformation & AI Team. Reporting directly to the Director Transformation & AI, you will act as the execution engine for the group’s most critical strategic initiatives. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and operational reality, driving complex projects from concept to implementation with a specific focus on Supply Chain, IT, Omnichannel Sales, Shared Services and Artificial Intelligence.
Your mission
  • Transformation Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key transformation initiatives, taking full ownership of project workstreams with a rigorous "hands-on" approach.
  • Supply Chain & Network Strategy: Drive initiatives around inventory optimization, new distribution models, and the redesign of the global logistics network strategy.
  • AI Implementation: Support the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence by identifying and executing concrete AI use cases (e.g., predictive inventory management, automated logistics) to unlock value.
  • Omnichannel & IT: Drive digitalization across tech infrastructure and customer-facing touchpoints, ensuring seamless integration between business operations and IT.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the implementation of Shared Service Centers to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the project portfolio and support post-merger integration planning where necessary to ensure sustainable growth.
Your profile
  • Experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience in strategy, supply chain transformation, or digital operations.
  • Consulting Background: Previous experience in a top-tier management consultancy (MBB preferred) is highly desirable.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a similar degree.
  • Mindset: Strong strategic thinking combined with outstanding execution capabilities. You are comfortable analyzing complex data sets and "rolling up your sleeves" to get the job done.
  • Domain Knowledge: Expertise in inventory optimization, distribution models, network strategy, and digital/AI transformation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills , capable of navigating complex, multicultural environments.
  • Languages: Fluent in both German and English.
